Join the Rock ‘n’ Roll Roadies!

Not a runner or walker? You can still be a part of the event! With over 20,000 runners and walkers, volunteers are needed to assist with every aspect of the event, including setup, pre-registration, the Health & Fitness Expo, the Start Line, Finish Line and water stations along the course.

IMPORTANT: Please Read

If you have not signed up to volunteer by Monday, May 25, you may not receive a confirmation letter or parking pass in the mail in time for your shift.

If you are volunteering at the Health & Fitness Expo, you may find free street parking near lots D1 and D2 of PETCO Stadium. There is no volunteer parking in the convention center garage.

If you are volunteering for the Start Line or Finish Line, you may obtain a parking pass for the shift(s) you have signed up for by visiting the volunteer check-in booth at the Health & Fitness Expo on May 29th or 30th. The Health & Fitness Expo will be located at the San Diego Convention Center (downtown), and free street parking is typically available near lots D1 and D2 of PETCO Stadium.

Team up with friends and family and make it an experience you won’t forget!

Post-Race Concert Information

Please note that this year the free post-race concert will be held at 1:15pm on the day of the race, making it difficult for many volunteers to attend. The change in time is something our runners have asked for, and we are trying to make their experience as positive and enjoyable as possible. We know that many of you have enjoyed our concerts in the past, but hope that the added benefits will help make up for this change.

Medical Volunteers

Various Locations along the Course – Sunday, May 31

The Medical Team is a group of volunteer multidisciplinary medical personnel dedicated to acting as a team to provide rapid assessment of medical needs and to administer acute first aid and immediate services to the runners. The team is made up of volunteers from many medical institutions within San Diego to assist runners in ensuring a healthy and injury free race day. Be a part of this vital group of volunteers!

NEW THIS YEAR- ORIENTATIONS ARE ONLINE!

ALL medical volunteers must complete a brief online orientation session. If you successfully complete the online orientation and brief 25 question True/False quiz, you will NOT be required to attend an orientation session in person.

Once you have registered, please complete the online orientation:

www.eliteracing.com/medicalquiz.html

You MUST complete this test prior to Sunday, May 24 in order to be a confirmed medical volunteer. Instead of coming to an orientation in person, you will need to pick up your race day parking pass at the Health & Fitness Expo. If you cannot pick up your pass, send a friend or family member to pick it up for you.

The bands were high-energy, as were the cheer squads. The crowd support and volunteers were top-notch as well. It's already on my calendar for next year!!!
